About me

I'm Katri, the designer, founder and maker behind KatriK. 
I create one-of-a-kind pieces from recycled bike innertubes, preloved textiles, end-of-roll fabrics and other rescued materials.

My work moves between fashion and the unexpected -- from wallets, hip bags and crossbody bags to clothing and jewellery. I mix fabric, rubber, texture and colour to create pieces that are individual, tactile and made to be noticed.
My visual language is deeply influenced by my lifestyle and passion for punk rock and alternative fashion - it's energy, freedom, DIY, spirit and belief in individuality. That attitude is at the heart of everything I make. I'm interested of breaking rules, mixing things that don't traditionally belong together and giving discarder materials a new identity.

Every piece is an experiment in creativity, reuse and self expression.

My studio and shop are based in Norwich, UK.
